Award-winning Beers

The science of beer and brewing dates back thousands of years. The ancient Summerians had their own beer goddess and archeologists have even found beer brewing activities dating back 9,000 years in China. While Cerberus does not have a beer goddess (unless you consider the servers bringing you cold beer to be deities), we do undertake the art of beer production with the same seriousness as our brew crafting ancestors.

We use quality ingredients. We practice patience in preparation (not always gracefully). We flex our creative muscles and strive to innovate even as we hold true to the methods that have produced great beer millenia after millenia. We like to think this balance of tradition and evolution has helped us become one of the best craft beer bars in Colorado.

Elevated Pub Food

Always-Changing Menu

The only possible pairing for award-winning beer is next-level cuisine. At Cerberus, we aspire to create delicious, unique and carefully crafted snacks, apps and entrees that transform any preconceived notions you may have had about what “pub food” should be.

Our culinary team constantly designs a new menu that balances classic favorites with new culinary adventures. Some examples from the past are that we have your beloved burger and fries, but we also have a towering golden beet sandwich. We’ll rotate in a cheese soup, but load it with flavor from our own signature beers. Whatever we are serving now won’t last, so get it while it’s hot!

We don’t just want you to leave full. We want you to leave satisfied. We want to be the place you crave when you’re starving after a long hike or casting off a bad day with a post-work happy hour.

We also want to be the place you call when you want a good meal but don’t want to be in public to get it. That’s why we offer take-out and delivery during operating hours.

Exceeding the Standard for Exceptional Service

Our crew knows how to have fun, but we also know when it’s time to get down to business. That means providing every guest with exceptional service whether they’re hanging with their dog on the patio with a plate of truffle fries or inside celebrating their 25th anniversary with signature entrees and custom beer flights.

Cerberus strives to create an experience that exceeds expectations. We even require our servers to attain a minimum of a level one Cicerone certification to ensure we can always answer your toughest beer questions. We’re a traditional pub, but more. More attention to detail. More commitment to going that extra mile. Does that sound a little high-end for a brewery named after a three-headed hellhound? Let’s just say that we aren’t exactly the kind of place that settles for being confined in a single definition.

Our Location

Cerberus is located on the border of two of the most popular areas in Colorado Springs. To our east is Downtown Colorado Springs, America the Beautiful Park, museums, art galleries and shopping. To the west, historic Old Colorado City awaits, with even more shopping, art and a lot of Colorado heritage.

The restaurant also happens to be located right near the Midland Trail and a PikeRide stop sits just outside the restaurant. Bike parking and car parking make it easy for you to stop no matter how you decide to get here. Come in before a Switchbacks game, ride over after exploring Red Rock Open Space and its vast dog park or kick your feet up and have a cold one after a long day of shopping. We’re easy to find on the northwest corner of Colorado Avenue and 7th Street just west of I-25.

Our patio, beer garden and dining tent are all dog-friendly seating areas. You can bring your four-footed besties and even order them their own puppy patties. Our staff is happy to bring out a bowl of fresh water and maybe even steal a few scritches if your dog is cool with that. (Sorry dogs, no craft brews for you.)

Our big backyard is a great place for dogs but the human set is pretty keen on it, too. The beer garden contains fire pit, comfy adirondack chairs with flat, roomy arms (to hold your beer) and tables for your snacks. In the winter, we provide heaters on the patio to keep you and your food toasty on chilly Colorado days.

For the days you just don’t want to person, you can still count on Cerberus via take-out or delivery. We prepare and package all your delicious cravings and then you can have them delivered or brave humanity for a few brief moments to pick them up.
